This is a short clip of The Red Baron getting into his plane. Vintage Film footage - the Red Baron (Manfred von Richthofen)
This is a video made by some high schoolers using animated clay characters. Both sides want the tree in the middle. In the end, well, the tree is still there and still belongs to no single person. Sadly, even high school kids have more sense than some older and wiser(Not) politicians and religious(Not) leaders, realizing that its not really possible to “own” something that will absolutely outlast you. But hey, the clay soldiers do put up a great fight.
Well, at least the homecoming the media does not readily show. I guess people would rather watch parades. from a video called “war sucks”
Yep, seems shit goes missing in both. Too bad its 2008 and not 1950, in 1950 they seemed to buy the “nukes just disappeared into thin air” excuse as shown by the few instances of “lost nukes” by the U.S. government, back then… maybe Bush should have tried that excuse, it may have sounded better than ” I lied, and no one can do a damn thing about it”.
Not much of a surprise in a country that does not seem to make it even a few years without battles of some sort and has seen two wars since the 1980’s. It seems politicians in the middle East have a hard time getting along, with their neighbors and each other. Maybe one day, they will all grow up and learn to play nice and share. He appealed to Hassan Nasrallah to take a historic stand to “save Lebanon from hell”. Here are a few pictures of what Lebanon looked like before the second war destroyed it… well, again. The beaches after the bombing and oil spill
and after Buildings in Rubble after bombings, Lebanon The following is a photo gallery from previous wars in Lebanon
German film showing the Uboats they operated during WWII
These are old WWII photos featuring one of Eisenhower’s assistants put into a video with some snappy, upbeat war time music in the background. Nice collection of old black and white photos presented in a slide show taken around the world…. I think
This is an old video showing the training of German army snipers |
