This is a video made by some high schoolers using animated clay characters. Both sides want the tree in the middle. In the end, well, the tree is still there and still belongs to no single person. Sadly, even high school kids have more sense than some older and wiser(Not) politicians and religious(Not) leaders, realizing that its not really possible to “own” something that will absolutely outlast you. But hey, the clay soldiers do put up a great fight.
Not much of a surprise in a country that does not seem to make it even a few years without battles of some sort and has seen two wars since the 1980’s. It seems politicians in the middle East have a hard time getting along, with their neighbors and each other. Maybe one day, they will all grow up and learn to play nice and share.
